| POSITION: | Research Support Assistant Level III-NL Grade 13 |
| Salary: $36,346.00 + $3,026.00 Location Pay | |
| DEPARTMENT: | CHILD AND ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRY |
| DUTIES: | Will recruit infants, children and adults for ongoing studies. Will assist with structured diagnostic interviews and rating scales. Will assist in behavioral management during the acquisition of MRI scans, obtain consents from parents and children, code data and data entry under the supervision of a senior data manager, collaborate with clinical and research staff, schedule evening and late night scans and act as family liaison to subject families. Will perform other duties as assigned. |
| EDUCATION: | Requires a bachelor's degree in psychology, or related science and 3 years work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. |
| TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: | A master's degree, knowledge of statistics, and prior experience in recruitment and assessments and experience with behavioral research are preferred but not required. |
| SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: | Position requires a strictly minimum 3-year full-time commitment, contingent upon continuous funding. This position involves regular and substantial contact with children. The successful candidate will be screened through the New York State Central Child Abuse Register prior to assuming any duties that will involve contact with children. |
