POSITION:	Research Support Assistant Level III Grade 11
	Salary: $32,522.00 + $3,026.00 Location Pay
DEPARTMENT:	MOLECULAR IMAGING AND NEUROPATHOLOGY
DUTIES:	The Technician will perform histological procedures including bright field and florescence immunocytochemistry on postmortem human tissue. These procedures are directed at the study of adult neurogenesis changes in major depression and in response to antidepressants treatment. The duties will include: histological procedures; operation of general laboratory instruments; inventory of freezer contents; bright field, fluorescence and confocal microscopy analysis of the immunostained brain tissue; data management and bibliography search. General computer skills are required.
EDUCATION:	Bachelor degree in Biology or related field preferred with strong computer skills.
