| Salary: $42,886.00 - $50,000.00 ($25,731.60 - $30,000.00) 60% | |
| DEPARTMENT: | MOLECULAR IMAGING AND NEUROPATHOLOGY |
| DUTIES: | The Department of Molecular Imaging and Neuropathology is seeking a part-time clinical assessor/interviewer to perform patient assessment for a federally funded study of suicidal behavior. Responsibilities include: 1) Screening and identifying research subjects; 2) Conduct assessments using clinical research instruments and summarizing findings; Interviews are conducted on site as well as at other locations including participants' homes. 3) Liaison with research psychiatrists regarding patient clinical care; 4) Prepare manuscripts and assist with grant preparations and reports; General supervision by Drs. Ainsley Burke and Maria Oquendo |
| EDUCATION: | BA and 2 years of clinical experience or MA and 1 year of clinical experience- Master's in Psychology preferred. |
| TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: | At least 1 year of previous work or related experience and has adult assessment experience. |
| SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: | Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of WordPerfect /Word 2000. Strong clinical background with experience working with severely mentally ill. Experience with research interviewing. Psychology background essential. Good writing and editing skills. Flexible evening hours preferred. |
