| DUTIES: | Candidate will be involved in an ongoing NIH-funded clinical trial evaluating efficacy of a version of Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (CBT) modified to be more suitable for cocaine dependent patients. Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator the Clinical Researcher will deliver standard CBT and the test version of CBT as modified for this study; perform structured clinical diagnostic interviews; and complete all assessments and reports according to the research protocol. Treatment will be delivered in a community-based substance abuse program in the Bronx. Excellent clinical training and experience will be provided as well as opportunities for manuscript and grant writing. |
| EDUCATION: | MA or ABD in Psychology or other appropriate field required. |
| TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: | Prior experience in delivery of evidence-based behavioral treatments is required. Relevant diagnostic and clinical research experience with substance abusers is strongly preferred. |
| SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: | Ability to work in a team, well organized and meticulous, Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred. |
