| POSITION: | Assistant Research Scientist I Grade 14 |
| Salary: $38,433.00 + $3,026.00 Location Pay | |
| DEPARTMENT: | HIV CENTER FOR CLINICAL AND BEHAVIORAL STUDIES |
| DUTIES: | The assistant research scientist will work with a busy team of researchers involved in various studies related to HIV prevention. Job duties will include: providing assistance with scheduling study visits; confirming appointments; following up with missed appointments; handling all payments of incentives and expenses; cleaning, coding, and analysis of qualitative data collected from in-depth interviews; conducting literature reviews; and providing assistance with writing manuscripts. The assistant research scientist will also be responsible for a wide variety of administrative tasks as needed. |
| EDUCATION: | B.A. or B.S. in Psychology, Public Health, Social Sciences, or other appropriate field preferred. |
| TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: | We are looking for applicants with an interest in or experience with HIV/AIDS or human sexuality research. |
| SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: | Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Must be well organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent writing skills. Experience with qualitative data analysis software is a plus. Please send cover letter and CV to Tim Frasca |
