POSITION:	Facilities Support Assistant Level I Grade 5
	Salary: $23,485.00 + $3,026.00 Location Pay
DEPARTMENT:	HOUSEKEEPING
DUTIES:	(This job posting is for 2 positions.) The incumbent will perform a variety of routine manual tasks requiring light, medium and heavy physical effort in cleaning and caring for assigned area under supervision. Will use manual and/or mechanical equipment to strip, and wax floors and vacuum and shampoo carpets. May polish wood and metal fixtures and equipment. May be assigned to work in various locations of the institute including but not limited to in-patient units, clinical areas, and research laboratories, out patient clinics or even outside on the loading dock.
TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:	Working knowledge of the properties of various cleaning substances. Ability to stand, stoop, bend and stretch for long periods of time. Ability to climb ladders and scaffolds. One (1) year experience in commercial cleaning/housekeeping is preferred.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:	Must be able to speak, read and write English as well as understand oral and written instructions. Regular work schedule will be Friday thought Tuesday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Ability to learn and accept new work assignment.
