The National Alliance for Research on Schizophrenia and Depression (NARSAD) has announced several sponsored research awards. Please forward this information to researchers who may be interested in applying for an award.

1) Lieber Prize - $50,000 – work relevant to the causes, pathophysiology, treatment, or prevention of schizophrenia, (see attachment for further information).

2) The Nola Maddox Falcone Prize - $50,000 – work relevant to the pathophysiology, treatment, or prevention of bipolar illness, (see attachment for further information).

3) Pat Goldman-Rakic Award – an award of $40,000 for excellence in neurobiological research, (see attachment for further information).

4) Ruane Prize - $50,000 – research on the causes, pathophysiology, treatment, or prevention of severe child psychiatric illness, (see attachment for further information).
